Micrometric focussing system with coarse and fine focussing knobs.
The stage has spring clips, can be rotated and has centering adjustment.
Illumination is by plane/concave mirror using double lens condenser with iris aperture diaphragm and auxillary swing lens.
A very solid piece of engineering, made in the USSR, this is contained in a strong wooden case (2 keys) and has the original operating instructions in English.
